It was a good weekend, I heard from both Matthew and Tristan. Both are doing well despite the increased insurgent activities. It doesn't appear that Matthew will be moving anytime soon, so the address below is a good address to send mail to him. SPC Vittorelli, Matthew J. Matthew's unit has been busy hunting and capturing high priority insurgents in their sector and defending the local Iraqi's. Even with the constant threat of the insurgency, Matthew says, he's proud to be there and he's in for the long haul. Tristan, too, has been busy fighting off the insurgency, turning an insurgent ambush into a victory for the coalition forces and capturing local insurgent leaders, who by Tristan's description "cried like a baby" when captured. Both boy's want to thank everyone who sent care packages and letters, and apologizes for not writing back but currently there is very little free time.
